I went down to Laughlin last night and fished from the floating public dock between the bridge to Arizona and the Riverside Casino next to the boat launch ramp.

I was using anchovies, fished bottom, with a plastic line slider loaded up with 4oz of weight.
I fished from approximately 8pm until midnight. In that time I caught 8 striper, but all were throwbacks as the largest was 10 inches long.
I was using a 2/0 Gamakatsu Octopus Circle Hook alternating between whole and chunks of anchovy, tied to the hook and shank with elastic bait thread.
That said:
I'm trying to find larger, keeper size fish
I'm not sure if it's my bait, setup, or location I need to change
Also, I'm looking for other productive places along the river in Laughlin I can fish from that aren't on casino property so I don't get in trouble as I don't own a boat.
Any help is appreciated [fishon]
