Great trip.
Ran two poles.
Caught maybe 20 Perch, Sadly no jumbos.
Landed four Bows, lost two under the ice and one more broke me off.
Caught my PB ice Brown while also hooking a Bow in middle of fight, miraculously landed both.
All Trout released to fight another day.
Drilled holes and never moved.
I was on ice before sun came up and bite dropped off fast at a little after 10.
Total ice thickess appx. 20”.
Hit slush once on way out but couldn’t have been more than 2-3” of slush.

Good late season run. RP was one of the steady producers this year.

Good looking Brown Mr. Shane. Looks like a Swedish pimple did the damage? We’re you fishing the upper end of the reservoir on/near the river channel?

Great.  Good to see you were able to get out...and that a few fishies came to play.  How long was the brown?

Thanks MW.
The Pimple with ice fly dropper caught the Bow.
An orange tungsten jig with Perch belly got the Brown.

Thank you Pat.
Was good to get out and fish.
I did not have tape on me so put that mini box next to fish to scale off of ( then forgot to scale when I got home).
I will be out in my shop next day or two, will measure box, then get back to you.
Have a great day, Shane

Scheels mini tackle box measured right at 7”.
So by quick guesstimation that Brown was a bit shy of 21”.
I wish that tackle box would have measured 12”!

Next time take a bigger mini box...or take along an "O-Fish-Al" measuring tape.

I have my own O"Fish"al measuring system and if that picture would have been mine, the tackle box would be at least 10 inches just by looking at it. No tape needed!
