We went to East Canyon on Friday the 1st. Launched around 7:30. Cold, Cold. 23 degrees. Tried around the launch area for a while and finally went up towards the head of the lake and figured it out. 3 in the boat and we ended up with over 40 fish landed. Caught a few nice ones. We were casting rapalas and jigs. We put out a couple lines and trolled back to the ramp and caught several more.

Welcome to the site and thanks for the report, good to hear the lake is fishing well and from your photo, it appears the water level is coming up, that's good news.

Exacto, welcome to the forum.
I'm going to take a stab at your user name and guess you have an interest in wood carving.??
Thanks for the report. Glad you were able to wrangle up a few of those critters.
