I have heard that one's trailer drops off of the end of the boat ramp when the flow rate is below 2,000 cfs. Several years ago, I backed off of the end of a boat ramp (at Utah Lake) and my tires got caught on the edge of boat ramp, as I pulled my boat out of the water, and I did major damage to my boat trailer. Can anyone tell me if there is a problem with one's trailer tires hanging up on the boat ramp when the flow rate is low? Also, is either side safer to launch from when the flow rate is lower? Thanks!
