Burraston pond 3/3/2018
#1
So it wasn’t a big body of water and the fish weren’t huge but the kids had a blast and it was near impossible to pull them away. For thos that don’t know burraston pond is a community fishing pond stocked by DWR in Mona. From the moment we got there it was fun to watch all the fish jumping and see how excited the kids got from the action as the rivers and lakes have been slow for a while. Once they started getting bites it was even better. The trout were small at about 9" but to a kid that kept their attention and excitement up.

Rare to read a report from the "Hamburger Ponds". Have fond memories of fishing Burraston Ponds as a youngster.

How much trash was there scattered around? Quit going there as I get tired of picking up others garbage.

Where I was and what I saw I didn’t see any. I was really actually clean. My only complaint is the weeds.
