Hey there davetclown,

Recently I've started to knock down the stuff I carry. Fresh or Salt.. I'm down to one fanny pack (12 wide X 5 1/2 high) and two different fly outfits configured to where I'm going and that's it.

Now how can you fly fish with only a fanny pack? Don't you also need a rod,reel, some line and a buzz buzz for bait?lol

Hey there Dryrod,

If Lee Wulff could cast a dry fly (he often made streamside without the use of a vise!!) 70~80 feet alighting perfectly without a rod (and it makes sense ..no reel), I should be able to put the line in my well stocked fanny pack and fish ....Right?!
