I can’t find any thing recently about chesterfield Idaho reservoir any my Utah boy been up and checked to see if it’s frozen over or not

Yeah I know I haven’t really found any where that talks much about chesterfield untill the fishing is slow there I know it freezes over pretty fast I was hoping one of the northern guys had a buddy or had taken a drive

Probably won't be much longer. That forecast looks too lock everything around there up. When I was up there early fall it was pretty low and they were still repairing the outlet. Bait bombed and thru all kinds of lures and spoons. Didn't even get a bite in 4hrs. There were tons of minnows all over the shore line at the damn.

Talked to my neighbor who had been up there on Friday, it was open water and he said they did really well... Said it was the best it's been in the last three years... Sounded like they fished it like Strawberry with white jigs cast towards shore and worked back to the boats... But I do think this coming week may start the ice sheet up that way.... Hoping anyway... ? I drove up there today. North and south ends and east side looked capped. Open water in the middle. Another week or two if it stays cold.
