I fished for four hours last evening, caught 5 walleye about 17-18", all on Thunderstick Jr., blue/silver, at ~16' down, ~3MPH. All with plenty of fat, but empty stomachs. Not a lot of bird activity, I wonder if the shad fry are deeper or all slurped up already.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like the walleye are getting more active. Hopefully the mini storm out there last night doesn't shut the fish down for a couple of days.

The wind picked up about 8:00 or so. Went up to the NE corner, and caught my last fish just after 9:00. Don't know what happened after I left, but I don't think the walleye will be put off. They have to eat with the warmer water.
