Mann. Cr.
#1
Found some good fishing in Mann Creek today. We got several trout, 3 or 4 in the 18" plus size and very awesome colors. Always heard a rumor or 2 about the Crappies in this little res. I got to put my new finder to work and actually coaxed a couple of good sized crappies after a bit of searching and lost a fair share of bites today and lucky not to lose a pole! Even managed some Large mouth Bass. We caught and released today. Water temp around 61 when we left. The boat ramp was at it's end so we launched in the mud to the left of the ramp no problem. Small boats should be fine for now.

Sounded like a good day. Maybe the rain will help the reservoir water level. Keep catching.

What finder did you end up getting?

On the finder I went with the helix 5 sonar/gps. I kinda wish I would have just went with the fully featured model with side scan and down scan but I am very happy with the performance of this new unit.. It has ice fishing mode as well and I have bird ice-ducer so it will double as an extra ice unit as well..
