Slayed the fish at Mantua today! You may be just as surprised as I am! Started fishing at about 9:30AM and fished till 2:30PM. Didn't go more than 5 minutes without catching a fish. Caught 30+ bluegill and I don't even remember how many trout between 2 of us. Funny thing was we were fishing in only 3'-4' of water. All caught on small ice flies tipped with either crappie nibblet or meal worm. All bluegill and trout were about the same size. Sorry about the edited pic, with all the reports of terrible fishing, I would rather keep this spot disclosed.

Nice to hear it's not terrible all year. May be the depth you were fishing too. Maybe we've all been fishing too deep this year. Thanks for the report. J
