We had our lights hanging over the side of the boat Saturday night.
First some biological started showing up then some small "minnows".

After some time and chum a few stripers circled around.
After about 3 hours some larger size fish swam under the light. These were just under the surface and would dart in and around the light. I miss the first school of 4-5 fish that were around 25" to 30" guessing they were 5 to 6 pound GIZZARD SHAD. Got the straggler on video but the light was a little bright. This was in the Vegas Wash across from Sand Island in 75ft of water.

With the size the gizzard shad are getting, the state record breaking striper i bet will come one of these days. Possibly from Lake Mead instead of below the dam
