I just bought a 22' hydroswift and am setting it up to be a fishing boat and am looking into getting a 6 -9.9 horse Yamaha or mercrury 4 stroke troller.
Looking for some feed back or reviews, likes and dislikes???

Don't forget the Suzuki fuel injected 9.9 kicker.
I don't have one yet,but the reviews are amazing.

I've got a Suzuki 9.9 that's electric or pull start, it's not a 4 stroke but it is oil injected so there's no mixing of fuel. $725.00

I am not sure about that.
The Larson dealer in Layton may be able to answer that.
The decibal specifications should be online also.
Good luck.

I have an older 4 stroke 9.9 horse Yamaha with electric start and it has treated me good in the last year I have owned it. This year I installed a Troll Master, that makes it so much easier to control the trolling speed, without going to the motor to adjust your trolling speed.

I had a 2 stroke 6 hp Yamaha that ran like a champ, I sold it with my old boat because i wanted to go with a 4 stroke and get rid of the extra fuel tank.
I am looking at a 8 hp merc or a 9.9 yamaha.
I already bought a remote troll W/ swim deck mount.
