Almost had the whole lake to myself on Saturday.
Saw BITE ME boat late in the day. The wind report from the weather man was way off. Had a good day with 19 Stripers all on live bait.
Missed a lot of bites and a few hit like Alligator Gar and bit the heads off. We were fishing in 25 foot with fish at 18-22ft. Biggest fish 2.65 pounds.
Bonus picture of a van and a boat coming back home.
Note the rope wrapped around the front part of the van.

I wasn't happy about the weathermans predictions either as I sat at home watching a perfect fishing day go to waste...

The weather man MUST be a fisherman, ive seen 20+ MPH wind reports for willow and i go out and BOOM perfect day. Ill bet he puts crappy weather days when he wants to go out lol.
I dont know the weatherman im just assuming this based on some reports ive seen.

We plan on messing up a bunch of fish this coming Saturday too. The last ones were way too tastey.
If this weather report holds true....

Watching the weather too and planning on hitting the water Saturday. Been nearly a month since the boat has seen water. But plan on chasing the greenies and brownies till it gets too cold for them then onto the Stripers. Heck it's been almost 2 years since I even tried to catch live bait. Doubt I could even toss a net correctly or find a spot to toss a net...

2 Year update.
The Gizzard Shad have taken over and are in the shallow waters of the Vegas Wash almost year round. You don't need to throw far, just get the cast net open.

I foresee a trip to the backyard and some net toss practice on the lawn in a month or two. Once the LMB and SMB action slows down.

We went out again Saturday and stayed out over night. No night bite but we got a few.
This time we donated the fish to people who are unable to get out and fish anymore.
