[cool]Hit Boulder harbor after work friday. Just as I got the tube in the water I saw a small turtle near the shore. He was the size of my hand with a red stripe on his neck. He was just slowly swimming around. I picked him up to look at him and then set him back in the water.
Started to kick out past the bouyline and towards the harbor mouth. Got no love on anything I tossed. Finally made a complete circuit and talked to some other tubers by the jetty. They had caught a few small stripers on live shad. Kicked back to the bouyline and got a hookup on a 3" swimbait at dark. He was about 1.5lbs so I released him to fight another day.

Small one beats a skunk [fishon] thanks for the report. Did you see if the tubers were tossing a net?

Good on you for braving the cold! Temps have dropped quite a bit and it was tough to stay warm on my last trip. It only takes one fish to wash off the skunk.
