Floyd Lamb 11-14
#1
The trout are finually here. They were stocked Monday at all the urban ponds and also Cold Creek.

I got to Floyd Lamb at 2 pm just as the hatchery truck was leaving. Using a 1/16th black with yellow spots/gold leaf Panther Martin I most havecaught atleast 20 trout within two hours.

It was great fun to catch so many fish since I never catch that many striper at the lake in that short of a time. It was combat fishing at times with everyone crowding around the area the hatchery truck dumps the fish. But I enjoyed catching trout. For me they are some of the best fighters especially using ultralight gear.

Nice, I was wandering if anyone had been fishing out there... We haven't got the normal reports from tow or 4 pound lately... I wander how sunset park is???? there doing so much work you can only fish about 200ft of the bank on the south side of the pond... The rest is gated off and under construction.... It had to be a mad house over there!!! Also gonna make for a long day of fishing since you can't find the fish you have to wait for the fish to come to you....Sad

Thought you were keeping that a secret haha!!!! It shouldn't be long with the trout in there, it will plump up fast!!! Hell if you snag it with a couple trout in the belly you got the extra poundage right there... I'm not sure there eating habits but it's not uncommon to see a striper with 3 to 5 trout in there belly!!! Damn pigs haha.... My buddy nailed a 13 pound striper at willow it had 4 trout in it's stomach and still hit his plug looking for more... That's crazy stuff...
