The boater who recently ran over and killed a swimmer out on Pineview reservoir was discovered by Ogden police. According to the news report on ksl, he and his two passengers stopped to talk to the woman after they hit her and then took off. One of the passengers contacted police, and the boat was confiscated; I hope the driver of that boat gets nailed to the wall. I live out on pineview and it gets really dangerous out there on kayaks and canoes. Someone like that needs to be made an example of.

+1 there was no reason to leave the seen of the accident,Who know if they would have got her aboard and and got her to the dock she might be here today? Accidents happen. But for whatever reason they left they made the wrong decision

There is no excuse for leaving someone that badly injured to die alone in the water.They didn't even bother to make a phone call. Flat out unacceptable. I hope the courts nail his ass to the wall. Anyone know if he is a BFT member?
