Magnetic Threader - Still use it?
#1
To me, the magnetic threader seemed like a gimmick tool which would not work as well as one would hope. However, I do remember a few posts here that people said they liked the tool.

So I am asking: now that you have had it for awhile, do you still find that you use it?

I am also asking whether it is useful for those big size 22 to 28 dries and size 22 -24 beadhead nymphs?

I am now getting to the point where such an aid maybe necessary on the river.

Always on my Landyard. I admit, I use it more for rivers and a lo† more in the cooler temps.

I dont use mine as often as I should especially on smaller flies.. in fact I have put away smaller ones and opted for a larger size because it was easier to thread a line thru it.. [crazy]

For some reason I didn't see this before.

I only use it on the tiny tiny little buggers that I can't seem to hold straight in my hands, so over all I don't use it very often.
