Hi all,
New to the forum (and Fishing) and doing my homework. Hopefully I'll be able to try my luck on lake Mead soon.

How ya doin. Lake Mead is a great place to fish. Just read up on some of the past posts for some ideas and go get your line wet. Plenty of experienced anglers here to help you out if you have some questions.

Thanks! I've been reading up some on the shore fishing spots around Lake Mead. Think I might take my dog and try gov't wash this coming weekend.

Since you are new to fishing and Lake Mead I thought I would make sure you know there are coyotes out there. Also since no one else has said anything, make sure to get a license as they to check for them.

Oh I go prepared. Would be nice to go home with a coyote pelt and a fish dinner! I am GTG on the license, picked it up before heading to Floyd Lamb on Easter Sunday. Boy was that place packed. Hopefully the crowd will be smaller at the lake.
