Chasin' Chukars in the Cold pt.2

Took off work mid day today to get out for some good old exercise (whether I see birds or not, that part is guaranteed), for myself and my pups. Came across to groups of 10-12 birds. Didn't shoot the greatest, and was a little distracted when the second group flushed (damn cellphones), but managed to down one out of each group. All in all, a pretty fun little short hunt, and a decent dinner for my wife and I to go along with a bird from a hunt last week.

P.S. Have you ever tried to get 2 bird dogs to pose for a pic at the same time while still out in the field ?[crazy]
Guess 5 was the lucky number, about 5 minutes later.

Very cool. How do you usually cook chuckar?

I cook them a few different ways. Last night I dipped them in milk,then rolled them in the crushed ritz crackers,and then pan fried them and butter(adding a little sprinkle of montreal chicken seasoning) .
