Colder Waters Belive It Or Not! were the current conditions from Pt.Mugu to Gaviota.Hot Surface Temps. were a Record this last weekend,but Colder water surfaced HUGE amount of eelgrass and Barn Kelp,etc....Surf Fishing was Tough and The Good Thing was the Bait Boats were working no further than 150 yrds. from shore.Strange Conditions,But A Great Tip" Got LIVE Bait?

Sounds like if someone had a float tube they could get bait and go play with the fishes in the salad. Kayak might be the real deal when it comes to safety and mobility around that area.

Is that area pretty tough to fish from shore, tube or kayak? Are there restrictions around Pt. Magu?
