I caught this bass while fishing for trout. I was using 4lb test, tiny trouble hook and power bait??? lucky me!

I beleive i had a small trout on my line at first and this large mouth was looking for an easy meal by stealing my trout off my line... but jokes was on him. I have never witnessed anyone catch a bass off purple power bait or power bait in general.

Awesome, you played that fish just right to get him to the boat. My biggest two trout and Pike came when I was bass fishing. You just never know in the spring what will bite when.

Acutally i landed him from shore, i dont own a boat (yet).

So i went back to Silverwood lake yesterday, got up at 3am just to get a good spot on the lake and was skunked!! I went there fishing for trout again but i noticed a lot of bass action, matter of fact i watched a very hungry bass beach a 3/4 pound trout, looked like something off a nature program when killer whales attack seals from the water and the selas barely make it on shore!! I was honered to see this cause im pretty sure its going to be a once in a life time thing..
So im thinking now is a great time to use lures that look like trout becouse the bass are out of spwan and looking too make nice meals of the left over trout who have not gone into hidding.
