FLETCHER'S POND

The lake is fairly churned up right now ,so flashy lures are doing great. Spinnerbaiting Pike and Bass and beetlespinning for the panfish. Pike numbers in the 26" to 30" sizes are down. Bass on the other hand are awesome with a 2-1/2 pound average .

lake charlivoix

burt lake

perch , pike and bass are doing well .

herring are still running all over the place in the DeTour/Drummond Island area!! Most popular place lately has been in the bays off of Pigeon Cove by Drummond Island.

Fishing for Salmon out off of the DeTour Reef Lighthouse has picked up quite a bit in the past week. spoons of the blue or purple down about 45-60 feet for finding the fish.

lake gogebic

perch are scattered , pike in the weed beds , the mayfly hatch is on !

hamlin lake , the gills are biting , crappie are just starting and our walleye fry have been released ! yee-haa !

iron mtn. area

walleye are down about 12 ft. pike are hitting just about everything !

tawas area

the walleye fishing around number 2 buoy in Tawas Bay is very good. East Tawas dock has been slow lately and the bluegill fishing on Tawas Lake has been pretty good.

the gill ,pike, smallmouth and panfish fishing inland is good and crickets and waxworms are working best, some walleye have been taken on Sand Lake. A few perch were being taken on Tawas Bay.

some walleye taken in the AuSable River near the mouth. The panfish for perch, crappie, bluegill has been fair to good on both Cooke and Foote Ponds. There has also been some pike and walleye taken on VanEtten Lake.

catfishing is excellent in the mouth of the AuSable, especially just before and after dark using crawlers. The smallmouth are also hitting well and leeches are working best. On Lake Huron, the Lake trout continue to hit best but the salmon fishing is picking up.

lake bellair

Walleye action after dark has been fair. Use leech or crawler rigs troll or drift slow. Heavy fish fly hatch . Pike and bass on spinners, Senko's with the best shimmy action as well as jerk baits.

Bay De Noc areas
