Ice hasnt quite set in yet but we know it aint to far off.
Hunting seasons are in full force across the nothern and high elivation states.
this means it is time to start finding your hard water gear and running off the dust bunnies and repairing the damages caused by gremillins.
Its hard to beleive that we can put our gear away in perfectly cleaned and in good working order, only to find that some how and some way nuts and bolts and other functioning parts have come loose.
Ya know full well no one else has touched your stuff yet when you get out on the ice you risk having the bail fall off your reel, or a mud dobber has crawled up in to the hole of your heater and made a home, or a mouse has eaten holes in your best wool sox and coons have found their way in to your shanty and left pressents all over the place.
so my question is, what have the gremillins done to your stored equipment during the off season that requires you to fix before you can hit the hard water this season?
