Strawberry Hunters

Wow what a great year up to strawberry. I don't know if the new units open to spike and cows was the difference, but I saw very few hunters compared to normal. I was able to take my deer with relative ease because none of my water holes had any pressure on them. That was a welcome suprise. In years past I've been confined to a few spots of the dozen I know because there were so many vehicles parked at the bottom of the canyons that I didn't even bother with most of them. How did everybody else do? Did anyone hunt elk on the newly opened units? If so, was there much hunting pressure?
