From the Au Sable
#1
Deercamp buddy of mine hit the Au Sable last weekend with his fly stick and got a few bows below the alcona pond and some suckers and smallies down at the footesite .

I go and hit the same waters a day later and get rockbass !!!!!

My uncle lives on the ausable. He is just west of Foote Dam (you can see dam from his backyard... it's one of those house way the hell up on the hill)

He said rock bass have started to come alive last few days of fishing. White twister-tail jigs seem to be working pretty good for him.

Rock Bass are really good. Actualy I prefer them to the gills because you don't have to clean as many. [Wink]

No he's not the one with the big M. I mistyped earlier. Should have said he lived just east of the dam not west. Between the boat launch and the dam on the north side.

Oh we have got to get him to give us up to date fishing reports , the gas prices going over there are killing my poor starving wallet [Image: happy.gif].
