Dude you are in the wrong time of year to be very successful with Coyotes. They are in the middle of their denning phase and raising their newborns. They are very nocturnal and are very hard to even call this time of year.
The best time for yotes is September through the first part of November. [signature]

If all you want to do is see the yotes, head to the zoo![

Where have you been wasting gas at? Go up on the front with a kitty cat and make it meow. That will get you some yotes.[sly]

The coyote hunting is pretty good until about february. It's getting tough now...but if you're not hunting for hides it can be very good in a month to two. Once pups are gettin' born the coyotes will become very territorial...and a coyote pup distress call will bring 'em runnin' hard.
The best advice I can give you is to get as far away from people as you can...the coyotes have heard it all by this time of year and if you are calling to virgin ears a bloody rabbit sounds awfully good! [signature]

Sounds like you might be out of luck for the time being but during the winter I heard a pack howling up a storm every time I went to Porcupine. Of course there is a lot of private land around there, you might be able to get permission to hunt some dogs there if you ask the right people[

Big buck 3333 would probably say no to that.[
