Today was a great day even though I lost my sunglasses (Spur and Bprice I&#39;m sure you guys are sorry to hear that the BC&#39;s went to a watery grave), Sam broke a rod and someone busted the tail lights out on the right side of the trailer. 8up had been wanting to come over here and experience the fishery we have here in Chattanooga so we met up at my house this morning at 7:00 and got on the water by 8 or so. He told me his personal best was 12 lbs so I thought we had a pretty good chance at getting him a new personal best today. We started out at the super secret spot with absolutely nothing to show for it. I thought this may be a tough day, but we moved down to another super secret hole and proceeded to pick up a 17 lber for Ron WOOHOO new personal best. About 15 minutes after that 5 of the seven rods we had out got bit in rapid succession I pulled up a 24 and a fish around 10 or 12 and Ron had his 47 in the boat so we had broken his PB 2 times by 9:30. We finally got all the rods back out and the boat situated and about 10:15 one of the rods goes down and I fight in my 46 lber. Shortly there after Ron catches a 20 something. We caught small fish pretty steadily after that until the sun broke through the clouds and the temperature shot up. Sam called about 1 or so to see if we were doing any good and I told him how we had done. We talked for a minute and he asked if he could come join us, I said bring something to eat and come on. Sam got there and we continued to catch dinks until about 5:30 when the bigger fish started to cooperate again. Sam caught his 43 lber in the evening along with numerous fish in the 20 lb range. Ron caught a 35 lber around 6:15 and I caught a 32 around 6:30. We packed it in right at dark and managed to find our way back to Skull Island to find my trailer minus the tail lights on the right hand side. Sam has a list of the weights of the fish we all caught minus the little fish and I will let him post it as I am sure I will miss some but it was a great day with old friends and new.
