EricM, Chick, HOF Blue cat (what a suprise) and more, 03-09-08

I got home from rehab (look how skinny I'm getting - only 3 chins left!) and just had to hit the river. Saw puddlejumper and peanut at the ramp and we fished near each other most of the day. I started out catching a few bluegill for live bait and using them on my 4 lb line in hopes of that elusive line class record, but it wasn't to be today, the best on the light line was only 13 pounds - but still fun! Later I switched to heavy line and skipjack (too late in the day to risk hooking a big fish on that light line) and managed a really nice 47 pound blue cat. Miss Peanut had never seen one that big so I went over and had her take my pic with it and she patted it's tummy - and I'm pretty sure she looked at her dad's stomach to compare them emoBig emoBig . I also managed a 20 today as well as a bunch of smaller fish, but the catfish were severely soremouthed this weekend and were hard to come by. I did get a pic of Peanut fighting a fish - she caught several. Another wonderful day on the river! emoThumbsup
