Puddle jumper and me teamed up to see if we could coax a few of the cats into coming out to play. It was very slow to begin with. We caught a few fish but they were scattered and hard to pattern. We spent hours searching and waiting. Then the bite picked up. We hung tough and ended the day with somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 fish. We had several over ten pounds with 17 pounds being the big fish for the day. Both Puddle jumper and myself had a 17 lber each. Puddle did hang into one that had his heavy rod bent over double and refused to come up. Then his line parted and the big girl was gone. We fished from 10 A.M. until 5;30 P.M. We used skipjack for bait. The water was a little warmer than it has been. It ranged from 45 to 50 degrees. <br /> It was absolutely a beautiful day and I was very fortunate to get to share it with a good friend. God blessed us with good weather, good fellowship and brought us home safely. Puddle has the pitcures to make this post a little more than just a fish story.... emoSmile
