Where the hell are you guys seeing this? I have looked at my e-mail 20 times today and nothing there. I have done searches on the dwr site, and nothing there either.[mad]

Indeed I did draw for the big 747's!!! [cool]Yeah, it's only been 3 years since I drew my last tag that went un filled. Hopefully this year will prove to be better for me. Last year I didn't have a tag and continually had the big birds landing in my decoys, so this year they will probably avoid me like the plague but at least it will be fun trying to bring down one of those big dawgs.

My son and I both were UN-successful. Bummer, it was his first year putting in for it. It will just prepare him for years of receiving these type of notices, didn't want to spoil him into thinking he could actually draw something his first year...

Are swans good on the table? I have eaten a lot of ducks and geese, but never a swan. Are they closer to ducks or geese (as far as table fare)?

I don't care to eat them so I don't apply, I only hunt or fish for game that I care to eat. I killed a nice black bear in Idaho years ago and didn't care for it and gave it all away that's why I don't hunt them. Some people like them to eat, where as I luv antelope meat when you take care of it as soon as it hits the ground and get the meat on ice, but alot of people I know can't stand it, so there you go everyone has different tastes. I hope the guys that drew have a great hunt this fall.[]

They are closer to geese, but still their own taste. I really like smoked swan and this year i am going to try and fry it like a turkey.[cool]

Have you deep fried a turkey before Brody? I do mine this way every year, and have one if you want to borrow it. I also have flavor injectors that I use that might really add to the taste. [cool]
