It looks like it is time for another Member reunion.
I would like to propose a Float Tubing trip in some familiar waters to me and others.
Cherry Beach in Long Beach seems to be a good spot for beginner, novice, advanced and expert tubers so that all can enjoy a safe taste of Salt water.
Bring any gear that you like for 12 to 20lb test or lighter if you would like.
If you would like to to bring a fly swatter, then a 5,7 or 9wt would be idead. Sinking line would be the choice as well as streamer type of flies.
I will keep a running post of attendees and this thread will always be on top for easy locating.
Attendees will be as follows:
TubeN2
We will discuss the time and meeting place as we get closer to the date.[cool]

It looks like we lost out on our anglers in Cali.
I may just have to go alone again.[crazy]

I'm working on an ice chest floatation ring out of my old Fish Master. It wouldn't be the first time that things has floated beer around.[cool]

We are working on a Salt trip. It will be during a safe time and under safe conditions.
You are familiar with OC area. I'll send you a map or post one here to Cherry Beach. It is just south of the Belmont Pier and is sheltered by a breakwater for safety's sake.[cool]

A simple freshwater rinse is all you need. I mostly use freshwater flyline in the salt. I have had no problem with it at all.[cool]

That used to be the case in the old days.
Now you can catch fish in the salt water and you only have to pull out the pepper shaker at the dinner table.
Imagine that! Fish that already comes pre-spiced.[cool]
