me and a few others hit willard today. was there from about 8am on til about 4pm. we tried everything in our arsenal with no luck, alot of nibbles and bumps though. had a good time and weather was great. one of my buddies did manage to land a couple crappies in the marina on green jiggs. after being embarresed by a young lady that showed up next to him and nailed 3 in less than a hour.
also my reverse gear didn't work in my boat. so I was ok as long as I didn't need to back up or slow down. lol I took some wiring out to carpet my boat so it'll probibally be an easy fix. but for now I'm too tired and sunbeaten to even worry about it. I think I'll try and get some sympathy from the missess (ha ha ha) DZ

Maybe if you werent with mr bad luck himself, it would have been better for ya. But did have a good time though. I guess I will have to see one of those witch doctors to see what can be done to break the spell.

[red]I also was at Willard today, got on the water around 1:30pm trolled straight to the SW corner using the infamous Producer Prism Shad in white with the blue back and a modified tail hook. Lots of fish were showing up on the fishfinder but no takers.[/red]
[#ff0000] On the way out I spotted a few boats about halfway out to the SW corner I think they were looking for walleye, they were not moving very much. I started to reel in my line to change lures and WAMMO, the reel started screaming.Once again I thought that I had a bad snag, until it started pulling back.[/#ff0000]
[#ff0000] Well I ended up with a very nice Wiper and I am proud to say that he will live to fight another day. Unfortunately that was all the action of the day. Speed was varied, mostly with my big motor at idle speed. I seem to chatch more that way. I tried surface lures as well as producers and the chrome Castmaster with a modified tailhook.[/#ff0000]

Walleye tournament yesterday???? What was the name of tournament?
I have been trying to get a hold of Rocky Mountian Anglers without any sucess. I tried to get a hold of Paul Reutlinger and his cohort via phone calls and e-mail, alas no success.
