Ririe?
#1
Just wondering how the fishing has been at Ririe. Also, what is the condition of the ice? Could anyone help me out with some info?
Thanks

Hit ririe yesterday. Got there about 11 a.m. I had a hard time getting out there as cold as it was. I set up between the shore and the rock island. The ice there was 6" thick. Fishing started out slow at first, but picked up a little around 1:00. Caught 2 cutts and 11 perch. Not too bad for getting out there late.

Bill Schiess had an article in the Post Register about Ririe. I have heard that it has been good there at the boat ramp. The unusual thing is that most people have been catching the Kokes on the bottom instead of suspended. The ice should be good.

Good Luck

Thanks for the info Tech29 and Windriver. I guess I'll try it out this weekend. Been fishing PaliSades real hard but had a miserable day last Sunday. There was eight inches of water on top of the ice with a half foot of snow on top of that. Kind of like walking in quicksand. Hopefully the cold temps will stiffen it up. Thanks again for the info.
