Lake Fork, March 14-18
#1
I'm from Utah heading to Texas for a few days of fishing. Fork has alot more grass and stick ups than what we have in Utah. I've been watching the reports from Fork for 2 years and I'm finally going to do it. I'll be staying with some buddies in a trailer. We'll be fishing from our toons which may limit us but if it's anything like Utah waters it may also prove to be an advantage.
I would appreciate any info. on spots we can launch a toon from, I can carry it about 200 yards or so before its a burden but I prefer, of course, to pull up close to the water.
I may get a guide for one day if I can convince one of my buddies to go in with me.
In short, I'm just looking for some help on how to catch some of these hogs from the south. The largest crappie I've ever caught was 8" long so I'm looking to top that as well [blush].
