Anyone ever went to the pinedale ice fishing tournament? Just wondering. I have been there the last three years and I can tell you it is a different world over there. I have yet to meet a person that does not want you there! There is a lot going on there that just fishing. A lot of contests go on and they also donated $2000 last year to kickin' cancer. All in all it is a great way to fish new waters, meet new people and help donate to a good cause! Anyone interested go to www.pinedaleonline.com go to calendar of events. I am glad you have enjoyed your trip to the Ice Fishing Derby held at Pinedale. Some friends and I made the trip over (3) years ago. I agree we had some fun and met a bunch of friendly people. It's really an adventure!

Unfortunately, our group did very little catching in two long days on the water. Tried several different spots on the reservoir. Talked to a lot of other hard water anglers, fishin' was slow for them also. My friends and I comically refer to the reservoir as the "Dead Sea".
