[#800000]For Mexican Boaters Insurance
[/#800000][#174011]The first 2007 WBT tournament on Lake Amistad will require additional boater's liability insurance to fish in Mexican Waters. One of our WBT Anglers, Debra Hengst, happens to be involved in the insurance business down in the area and has assisted many of the top Elite Anglers in securing their coverage in the past. Her contact information is listed for those who are interested.

[#800000]Fishing License Requirements[/#800000][#174011]
Texas fishing license requirements apply when fishing on the U.S. side of Lake Amistad. When in Mexican waters, you must adhere to Mexican fishing regulations, which differ considerably from Texas State Regulations in terms of size and catch limits. The border with Mexico is indicated by numbered buoys running along the main channel of the Rio Grande. If you plan to fish in Mexico be sure to have a Mexican fishing license and boating permit.[/#174011]
[#800000]Where can I get a Texas fishing license?[/#800000][#174011]
Wal-Mart, Diablo East Marina, Exxon Stations, Anglers Lodge, etc,
and most convenience stores sell them.[/#174011]
