Montpelier

I am planning of going out tomorrow and have heard some good reports on Montpelier. Does anyone have any current information?

I haven't been there for about three weeks. Fish were rising all over the res about 2:00 when I did a drive by so I headed back to the house and got my small boat. By the time I got back the wind had come up and the water was pretty rough which ended the rise. I did some drifting and caught a few but it was pretty slow. I'd guess the fishing should be pretty hot about now. I will be in Logan tomorrow or I'd go with you.

Thanks for the information. I didn't want to drive from Logan up there is the fishing hasn't been good. I haven't heard anything about the resevoirs around Preston.

Most of the lakes around Preston have been very good lately.

Went to Montpelier on Friday. Had a great day fishing. I ended up landed about 15 fish. On was 19" and about 3 lbs. We caught a lot of fish between 13" and 19". They were very eager to bite and didn't seem to care about what we were using. Between the six of us I would guess that we caught almost 100 fish in four hours.
