CJ Strike 9/10/06

Spent the night at CJ Strike on the 9th at "Cove", woke up early on the 10th and went out in our float tubes. Fishing was very slow until about 10am when i caught 3 LM bass right in a row. None were keepers but it was fun anyway. Used several lures but good ole texas rigged worm seemed to be the best ammo.

Found out later there was a 50 boat bass tournament for troubled teens that day, that may have accounted for the slow fishing. I did notice lots of boats on the water that day. Will be going back before it gets too cold and try again.

Thanks for the report and welcome to BFT. I'm out of Emmett so it's nice to see another Southwest Idaho member join us. The wife and I plan on going to Brownlee (Woodhead) on the 14th, but now I'm getting worried that it's going to rain on us. Rain and a tent don't mix well.
