natchuage river, chaplin
#1
well made it there at 6 this morn, according to mr.weather man last nite the rain was all done before midnite.well as soon as i was down river and in the middle here can a quik thundershower.and i didnt bring a rain coat, thanks mr.weatherman.well i didnt get too wet it moved on pritty fast, the river was very low this year, but fishable.it started off wth alot of action landing a nice rainbow about 11 inches, nice and fat with alot of spunk.released him than landed a tiger,14 inches and gave a great battle.this one didnt have the common marking of a tiger.so i wasn't sure at first if it was a brown or a tiger, untill i open his mouth and there was the pickerell like teeth, and got my thumb pritty good.had some turkeys go by on the other side with a health red fox shortly behind, one of the largest i have seen in a while, the fishing slowed a little untill i changed to a blach wollely bugger and it started up againlanding 4 more browns in the 11 inch range all were released, then mr. beaver swam up to me , litterally, only 2-3 feet away from me untill he finally noticed me,after that the fishing came to a sreamming halt then it was time to go.
hopfully willl get a couple of hours in sunday before the big easter dinner soo..................................................................................................

HAPPY EASTER
