1 Feb 2006 Rockcliff Jordanelle Report

Fished RockCliff today 10am to 200 pm. Had 3 caught and released before I could get fully set up. (chair, finder and camera)

Lots of bites iced 20 fish mainly small planters but BIG fun the action was not nonstop. There were quite few breaks between fish at times. Then it would go nuts catch three or more in a roll then die off for 10 or 20 mins. Using the aqua view I could watch the fish move in then out. The ice is about 6-7" thick and very slushy and very WET so dress for it.

Nope on the perch and browns. That was my 1st time at Nelle this year I only moved once. Did not do much searching to much slush and water kind of hard walking. I would bust through then sink about 1" I was not prepare for that kind of walking to wet, wrong boots.

I did see three baby perch that came from a gutted trout stomach that a another fisherman had.
