Are 3 hooked lures legal
#1
I am looking to see if anybody knows what Connecticut's regulations are on 3 hooked lures. The regulation book says one hook, two hook, and treble hooks are legal. Does that meanSpinners that have the 3 pointed hooks are illegal? How about the Rapalla ( and other similar lures) that have 3 single hooks? They sell "oodles" of them at Wal*mart- but that does not mean anything...
Thabks for your info!

Any lure you buy is legal to fish in CT. The state doesn't want you to use something like a trot line with multible hooks. A treble hook is considered as one hook. Now that your buying tackle, you may find it to be addicting.

If you tell us what kind of fish you are after, the guys here will tell you what has worked for us. Different bait sometimes work only in certain lakes. But trying different stuff and learning how to use it is the fun of fishing. Pushing the big 50 and I'm still learning. [Wink]
