We went to the Ventura Pier around 6:30. It was warm, no wind and not crowded at all.
The fishing was slow for most of the night. We caught plenty of Shiner Surf perch for bait but there was nothing to use them on.
Finally we managed to pull out a Cabezon from the depths. It was released and we left around 11:30[cool]
