Well Guys this has been a very busy 2 weeks here. The bite is still good in the middle of the Lake, Shore fishing has slowed down in the afternoon.
You still want to us a bobber if the wind is not bad out here. When the wind kicks p you want to fish the bottom with about a 8-12 inch leader.
Nightcrawlers, Chartreuse, Rainbow, Red White And Blue are good colors to use out here. Crave pro Series is a god choice to use out here.
The Lightning and Thunder Trout will be here next week.
Santa Ana River Lakes will be open tomorrow for there Trout Opener.
The Lake is down about 60 ft so you have to hike down to the water just to let you know. (Santa Ana Rivers)
The water is coming up everyday so be patient.
Good luck out at the lakes. Always remember you fish to relax and have fun. You always don't catch fish thats why they call it fishing.
