4/2 Free Kids fishing derby
On Saturday, April 2, 2005, Western Fishing & Boating Radio will be co-sponsoring the fifth annual Mile Square
Park Youth Fishing Derby along with the Orange County Department of Harbors, Beaches, and Parks (OCDHBP) and the California Department of Fish and Game (DFG). The event will take place at the “north lake” area of Mile
Square Park located near the intersection of Warner Boulevard and Euclid Street in the city of Fountain Valley.

[font "Arial Black"][black][size 4]We take pride in our kid's events and are proud to be sponsors of the largest circuit of youth fishing tournaments on the west coast. This event, in the heart of Orange County, is the latest addition to our ever-popular youth fishing tournament circuit and we would like this one to be the best and biggest yet! The derby is completely free for the kids and will include three age divisions: 7 and under, 8 to 11, and 12 to15 year olds. A grand prize, valued at over $1000, will be awarded for the
largest fish. So bring the kids out and watch them
