Decided to take a morning run up to Causey yesterday to see if I could find some Kokes. The weather was great in the morning, a little nip in the air, but no wind. The water temp wa 49.3. I wasn't able to find any Kokes, but I did manage a few bows, and a splake. I tried a different setup for the first 2/3 of the day. I was really trying to entice the Kokes into biting. After only one fish and one hit, I decided to go back to my "usual", with a Kokanee King and an Apex, and I really started putting the hurt on them troutskies. Then the wind started to pick up quite a bit, so I called it a day. Sure wish I knew where the Kokes are hiding up there.
