Blue Crabs Back?????

Hearing some talk on the job sites that the crabs are back. But when I ask about how many where taken home compared to how long they fished no one seems to know. Sounds like just some fish tale or hopeful thinking. Anyone hear something that can be relided on????? I may have to check it out myself.

i went to the thames river last wed.herd that some small snappers were in.while casting my shoulder off i tried for some crabs,in three hours 2 small crabs.12 snappers,real small i don't know how they got on the hook,even in our crab trap the green crabs haven't been good,as last year

I'm going to have to try next sunday if I can catch the tide right. Even six legals for a pot of sauce would be worth it. Let you know how I make out.
