Water flows from 8250 cfs. early a.m. rising to 13,500 cfs.late p.m. Weather is fantastic. Warm temps. and plenty of sunshine.<br><br>This weeks action:<br><br>Fly Fishing:<br><br>Fishing activity at the Ferry is a roller coaster ride due to eratic river fluctuations. If you hit it right, fishing can be great. Dry fly action is good with very large hatches of midges. We recommend a #16-18 adams pattern on 7x, and a droppery fly preferably a midge pattern #22 on 8x. A #16 wuff and bead head zebra dropper 6x - 7x #18 zebras.<br><br>Spin Fishing:<br><br>Still good drifting cheese colored egg patterns and dropper with San Juan Worms.<br><br>Million Dollar Fish Contest sponsored by Aramark at Lake Powell May 1-24, 2001.
