Great-granddaughter hunting
#1
I've been (trying) to get ready to go elk hunting. My great-granddaughter, who lives with us, said, "I'm not old enough to go hunting yet, am I?" I told her that was true but I would teach her to fish. BTW she's almost five. Warms this old guy's heart that she wants to do the outdoors with me. We looked at some fishing videos on YouTube and I asked her if she wanted to put her fish back or bring them home to eat them. She said bring 'em home. This from a sweety who won't let me keep worms we dig up in the garden to go fishing with. I wish my heart were that innocent sometimes. I guess I'll have to be sneaky when I harvest perch eyes for bait.
The older I get the more I would rather be considered a good man than a good fisherman.

Nice, glad to she taking a interest in the outdoors, maybe a nice easy hunting drive is in order.
