Marlin
Marlin fish has been up and down this week, it’s really hard to say how it will be this upcoming week, usually in beginning of December It’s very good is just so much bait this year it tough to get them to bite.
Dorado
Has been very good this week off the Light House up to Rancho Migrino on lures and live bait.
We caught 12 dorados on Monday, 1 on Tuesday, 7 on Wednesday, 24 on Thursday and 10 on Friday.
Tuna
If you run 12 to 14 miles off shore you have a chance to run into a school of Tuna on sardines, king busters and cedar plugs. Most are in the 8 to 14lbs range if you can find a school.
Wahoo
Wahoo are here and there, you just got to lucky on lures and rapalas.
Inshore
Good numbers of sierras caught this week, few roosters, few small tuna and skipjacks.
We caught 19 sierras on Saturday, 10 sierras on Sunday, 10 sierras and 1 rooster on Monday, 25 sierras on Wednesday, 2 sierras on Thursday, 20 sierras on Friday and 12 sierras on Saturday.

WEATHER: Reviewing the forecast for Cabo San Lucas Over the next 14 days and the average daytime maximum temperature will be around 26°C, with a high for the two weeks of 27°C expected on the afternoon of Tuesday 8th. The mean minimum temperature will be 17°C, dipping to its lowest on the morning of Saturday 5th at 15°C. The next 14 days will have mostly dry days although Wednesday 09th and Thursday 10th are likely to see a significant amount of rain. Current predictions suggest Wednesday 9th will have the most precipitation with an accumulation of around 11.0mm. On the whole winds are likely to be light.

Seared Ahi Tuna Steaks
These seared ahi tuna steaks take only 6 minutes to make- they're healthy, crispy and seared on the outside, and medium-rare on the inside, and bursting with umami flavor!
Ingredients
2 ahi tuna (yellowfin tuna) steaks (about 4 oz. each, at least 1.5" thick)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil see notes
1 tablespoon honey see notes
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper to taste
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 tablespoon canola oil or olive oil
green onions, toasted sesame seeds, and lime wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions
1. Pat the ahi tuna steaks dry with a paper towel. Place on a plate or inside a plastic bag.
2. Mix the soy sauce (2 tablespoons), toasted sesame oil (1 tablespoon), honey (1 tablespoon) kosher salt (1/2 teaspoon- OMIT if marinating for more than a couple hours, see notes), pepper (1/4 teaspoon), and cayenne pepper (1/4 teaspoon) until honey is fully dissolved. Pour over the ahi tuna steaks and turn over to coat completely. Optional: allow to marinate for at least 10 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator. Also optional: Reserve a spoonful or two of the marinade before coating the fish for drizzling on top after you've cooked it.
3. Heat a medium skillet (preferably non-stick or a well-seasoned cast iron skillet) on medium-high to high until very hot ( or medium medium-high for nonstick). I recommend giving cast iron 3-5 minutes to get hot and nonstick about 1 minute, depending on how thick it is.
4. Add the canola oil (1 tablespoon) to the hot pan. Sear the tuna for 2 minutes on each side for medium rare (1.5 minutes on each side for rare; 3 on each side for medium). (Note: different burners get hotter depending on your stove. Use your best judgement whether you use medium, medium-high, or high heat, as the marinade may burn if too high heat is used).
5. Remove to a cutting board and allow to rest for at least 3 minutes. Slice into 1/2 inch slices and serve garnished with green onions, toasted sesame seeds, and a squeeze of fresh lime juice, if desired.
COCKTAIL
Mint Tulip Cocktail
This easy, 5-minute recipe gives spiked lemonade a run for its money.
Ingredients
2 c. pink cranberry juice
1 3/4 c. citrus vodka
1/2 c. St. Germain liqueur
1/4 c. fresh lemon juice, plus slices for serving
Fresh mint sprigs, for serving
Instructions
1. Combine cranberry juice, vodka, St. Germain, and lemon juice in a pitcher.
2. Serve over ice with lemon slices and mint sprigs.
BEWARE: Please beware of the guys in the street selling boat charters. If you wait till the day you are fishing and go to the dock where your boat is many times people will mislead you to another boat or dock trying to put you on a boat that was not meant for you. You need to have a person guide you to your boat, who is from a reputable charter company. This way there is no confusion or misleading. Please remember when renting Sport fishing boats in Cabo that you rent your boat from reputable and established business. Walk into a fishing fleet office and ask questions about what you are getting and what are the costs. You don't want to rent boats from vendors in the streets and you do not want to book through shady websites offering you the world. Check through travel forums about reputable fishing fleets to deal with. Look for testimonials about the fleet your booking, your charter with. Ask about what will the boat be supplying? Will it include beverages or lunches? How much does it cost to fillet your catch? Check to see if charter boat is insured? Ask about getting your catch smoked? Check cost of a fishing license. These are just a few things to consider when booking your charter boat. We will be talking more about this in the next weeks fishing report. Seared Ahi Tuna Steaks
