New rod

Got to get out and test my new jigging rod this morning, that I built over the weekend. Nice medium light with a fast tip, split cork grip, I put a Shimano Sienna reel on it.

Wow, that new jigging rod treated you well, also looks like the eye bite is still on. Did you do any trolling or were they all caught jigging?

Yes it did. We trolled a little, maybe for an hour is all, caught 3 trout and was the only bites we had trolling. All the eyes were caught jigging.

I guess the trolling for eyes part of the season is over but good to see the jigging part is still working. Were you jigging that same area?

Yea, I think it is, yea we went down to that little corner and trolled around it and up the lake on both sides, then went to jigging where we were the other day.
